Asset Management Director/Asset Manager

Purpose:

The Asset Management Director/Asset Manager is responsible for:

a) Managing the lease due diligence and analysis for acquisition, portfolio and divestment aircraft,

b) Managing the lease due diligence and analysis for managed aircraft 

 

What you will be doing 

• Technical Lease due diligence and analysis to mitigate residual value risk and identify transaction costs and value when acquiring aircraft on lease

• Manage aircraft pre-purchase, sale inspections, logistics and highlight value and additional costs

• Support each assigned lease novation activity

• Provide technical support (e.g.:technical questions from investors, board presentations, maintenance cash flows reviews, etc)

• Monitor all external service providers associated with asset management activities against defined KPIs

• Manage and propose updates to the relevant Technical Department’s policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement

• Provide ad-hoc sales support (portfolio aircraft placement or PLB/SLB generated on the Sales team) and/or aircraft transitions as required

• Other duties that are assigned by the organisation from time to time

• Timely analysis and highlighting of the technical aspects of acquisition or sale of aircraft

• Accurate completion of Deal Input Sheet (DIS)

• Successful technical project management of each asset purchase or sale

• Identifying solutions to lease language issues observed during the aircraft acquisition process

 

Likely Experience

• Degree in Engineering or Licensed Aircraft Engineer

• Significant experience in aircraft leasing/airline industry

• Strong technical records experience essential

• Strong working knowledge of FAA and EASA maintenance, operational regulatory requirements, and the certification/registration process required

• Excellent comprehension and understanding of aircraft lease documentation

• Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills

• Ability to effectively multi-task at a high level
